Introduction

Standard Applied Intelligence Labs, Inc. ("SAIL", "we", "our", "the lab", or "us") is an engineering shop. We collect a minimal amount of personal information from visitors to our websites and from people who contact us about engagements. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how to ask us to delete it.

This policy applies to information we collect on our websites, in email or calendar correspondence between you and us, and during the course of an engagement, subject to the terms of any signed agreement. By using our websites or contacting us, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

02

What we collect

The lab collects only what is necessary to respond to inquiries, schedule conversations, and run an engagement.

From contact-form inquiries: name, email address, company name (optional), and the contents of your message.

From scheduled calls: name, email, and the meeting details you provide through our calendar provider.

From routine site traffic: IP address, browser user-agent, and request timestamps recorded in standard server logs.

The lab operates without user accounts, logins, or behavioral tracking pixels.

03

How we use it

The lab uses personal information to respond to inquiries, schedule and prepare for conversations, carry out and document signed engagements, maintain records required by law or tax authority, and defend against legal claims where applicable.

The lab does not use personal information for behavioral advertising or to build third-party profiles.

04

How we share it

The lab does not sell personal information. The lab does not share personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

The lab uses a small number of operational providers to deliver these services, including email hosting, calendar booking, and website hosting. These providers process personal information only as necessary to operate their services on the lab's behalf, under their own privacy and security commitments.

The lab may disclose personal information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority; to enforce a signed agreement; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of the lab's assets, in which case the receiving party will be bound by privacy commitments at least as protective as this policy.

05

Cookies and analytics

Our websites use a minimal set of cookies for essential functionality and aggregate traffic measurement. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site behavioral profiles.

You can configure your browser to refuse cookies. Some site functionality may be limited if you do.

06

Children

Our websites and services are not directed at children under 13 years of age, and the lab does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at the address in §10 and we will delete it.

07

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information the lab collects, uses, and discloses about you; the right to delete personal information collected from you; and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email the address in §10. The lab does not sell personal information.

08

Data retention and security

The lab retains personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, plus any period required by law. Engagement records are retained per the terms of the signed agreement. Contact-form messages are retained for up to twenty-four (24) months unless an engagement begins, in which case retention is governed by the agreement.

The lab applies industry-standard security practices to personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; you transmit personal information at your own risk.

09

Changes to this policy

This policy may change. The lab will update the date at the top of this page when material changes are made. Continued use of the websites after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
